Luftwaffe mechanic personnel No. 4 (1:32) is a resin figure set from Black Dog depicting German aircraft ground personnel of the Second World War years.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin figure set in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Black Dog. It depicts a member of the German aircraft ground personnel, a mechanic, of the 1940 to 1945 period. The set is meant to bring aviation scenes and dioramas with Luftwaffe fighter and bomber models to life.
The ground personnel of the Luftwaffe kept the daily running of the squadrons going. Mechanics topped up fuel and ammunition, adjusted engines, checked airframes and prepared the machines for takeoff. Their overalls and equipment give a static model both scale and a story, because they show the aircraft in the context of work on the airfield apron.
The parts are cast in resin. Before gluing, wash them in lukewarm soapy water to remove any mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces with your airways protected. It is assembled with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and any gaps should be filled with putty. We recommend applying a base coat of primer and working the figure up with acrylics or oils, with the emphasis on the shades of the overalls, the skin and the small accessories.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
