Quinta Studio 1:32 Albatros D.I to D.V, rib tapes in a magenta shade, is a sheet of decals for the wing covering, not an interior set. It is universal, that is for kits from all manufacturers.

This sheet belongs to a different part of the range than the interiors: it does not answer the cockpit but the outer surface of the aircraft. These are long narrow strips printed on decal paper, laid onto the wing covering exactly where on the real machine the ribs were covered by a tape of fabric. The set is universal for all kits of the given type in 1:32 scale, because the spacing of the ribs is set by the real subject and not by a particular kit. The magenta shade is one of the color variants the manufacturer offers for this line; the other colors are separate items and are not interchangeable.
The Albatros D.I to D.V is a line of German fighter biplanes of the First World War with a wooden semi-monocoque fuselage and fabric covering on the lifting surfaces. Once the covering had been stretched and doped, narrow tapes of fabric were glued over the individual ribs to cover the seam. On a finished machine they form a regular pattern across the whole wing, and it is one of the details by which a model of this era is recognized at first glance. The color finish of the tapes differed on the machines that have survived.
The work is different from a panel in the cockpit. The strips are long and narrow, so they break or fold over easily, and above all they have to sit parallel, otherwise any irregularity across the whole wing is seen immediately. Go one at a time, lead the tape along the one already stuck down next to it and check that they are parallel against the light before you fix it. The undercoat should be glossy and dry; where the tape runs over the leading edge, press it down patiently with a damp cotton swab. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. At the end the whole covering is evened out with a matte varnish so that the transitions of the decals disappear.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
