A set of turned metal parts in 1:32 scale from the Polish maker MASTER for the Soviet MiG-19S supersonic fighter (Farmer C in the NATO reporting name). It contains turned cannon barrels and a pitot tube as a more accurate replacement for the plastic parts from a kit, with more faithful geometry and a fine, correctly suggested bore at the muzzle.
The MiG-19S was one of the first production supersonic fighters with cannon armament and it remains a popular Cold War subject. The set replaces the plastic barrels and the pitot tube with accurate metal parts that come out better once painted and bring out the characteristic elements of the nose and the armament of a model.
Cut the parts off the remains of the casting and clean them up. Fit the metal barrels and the pitot in place of the plastic parts and glue with cyanoacrylate. Apply a base coat (a primer) suitable for metal surfaces before painting.
This is not a model of an aircraft but a supplementary set of replacement parts. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
