A color interior 3D decal in 1:32 scale from Quinta Studio, in the reduced Small form. It is not a model — it is a set of three-dimensionally shaped color decals for the cockpit. Compared with the full version it covers a smaller part of the interior (above all the main instrument panels and the key consoles), so it is a quicker choice with a narrower scope. The set is intended for the MiG-21UM plastic kit from Trumpeter.
The MiG-21UM was a two-seat trainer derived from the supersonic MiG-21 fighter. It served to train pilots with a number of air forces and you recognize it by the second, instructor's cockpit.
The elements are cut out, briefly soaked and applied wet directly onto the cockpit parts. The decals are pre-printed in color, so painting and hand-painting the dials falls away. Apply them onto a smooth gloss coat; a decal softener is not used with these 3D decals, as it attacks the print. At the end the interior is unified with a matte coat.
This is an interior accessory, not a kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included — the set serves to detail the matching kit.
