Resin air scoops for the MiG-23 Flogger in 1:32 scale from Quickboost. A resin replacement detail; this is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin replacement part, not a model. This resin set from the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires) in 1:32 scale holds the small auxiliary air scoops for the Soviet MiG-23 Flogger fighter. They are easy-to-fit resin details that refine the small intake fairings on the fuselage. It is supplied unpainted and without an airplane model.
The MiG-23 with its variable-geometry wing was one of the most widespread fighters of the Warsaw Pact. Its fuselage carries a number of small auxiliary scoops for cooling and for feeding air to the accessories. Precisely cast resin parts have a more faithful shape than the plastic from the box and often a cast-in hollow as well, so they improve the distinctive surface of the machine without laborious drilling.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, carefully cut off the thin casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces gently with respiratory protection. Because they are small, work with tweezers and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; lay the color down to follow the surrounding camouflage and bring out the detail with a fine wash.
The part is supplied unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and the airplane model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
