A resin detail set by the brand Quickboost in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a replacement ejection seat with cast safety belts for a matching kit of the Soviet, and later Russian, fighter Mikoyan MiG-29A Fulcrum. The casting captures the shape of the shell, the padding and the structure of the harness in one piece, so there is no assembly and no photo-etched belts. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
The MiG-29 Fulcrum is a twin-engine fourth-generation frontal fighter developed in the Soviet Union. The pilot sits in it on a zero-zero class ejection seat by the Zvezda design bureau, typically in the K-36DM version, which allows the machine to be left safely even at zero speed and zero altitude. This seat is among the most widespread eastern ejection systems.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Protect your airways when sanding resin. The structure of the belts and buckles comes into its own once painted and lightly brought out with a wash.
This is a supplementary resin set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
