A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Brengun aimed at the interior of a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M5c Zero fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an upgrade accessory to a plastic model. The photo-etched parts refine the cockpit, the instrument panel, the side panels and other elements of the pilot's space that are well visible in the large 1:32 scale. It is based on the dimensions of the Hasegawa kit.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the main carrier fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service during the Second World War. The A6M5c Model 52c version was among the late variants with strengthened armament and armor, which were meant to answer the growing Allied superiority. The Zero became famous for its agility and great range, but the late versions were already struggling against more powerful opponents.
Separate the fine parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them with a bending tool exactly according to the instructions. Paint the photo-etched interior elements before installation and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The cockpit stands out once the details have been brought out with a wash and a dry brush.
This is a detail accessory to a plastic model, not a kit in its own right. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
