An aftermarket detail set from MASTER, not an aircraft kit. It holds turned brass barrels for the .50 caliber Browning wing machine guns and gunsight parts for a model of the North American P-51D Mustang in 1:32 scale. The metal and add-on parts replace the plastic pieces from the original kit and lift the detail of the armament and the cockpit alike.
Turned brass gives the machine gun muzzles the right diameter and the sharpness that plastic cannot reach. The gunsight refines the view into the cockpit. The set is meant for the classic P-51D fighter with its six .50 caliber machine guns in the wings.
Cut off the plastic barrels, drill holes into the remaining parts and glue the brass parts in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Clean up and degrease the parts before gluing. The work suits advanced modelers; brass takes a primer and paint well.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
