This item is not a kit of an airplane but a tiny resin accessory from the Quickboost brand. It contains boarding steps for a model of the twin-engine OV-10 Bronco aircraft in 1:32 scale, in the A and D versions alike. It is the kind of part that is thin and broken up on the real machine, and that is why it always comes out of a plastic mold thicker than it ought to be.
The Bronco has a high-set cockpit between two tail booms, and boarding it is handled by steps on the fuselage. In the large 1:32 scale they are clearly visible and their thickness is one of the details that the eye quickly judges as right or wrong. A resin casting allows a thinner section and sharper edges and saves the work of sanding the original plastic parts down. The set suits a model with an open cockpit, or an airfield scene with a crew, most of all.
Wash the parts in warm water with detergent, so that primer holds. Cut the casting block off with a sharp knife or a fine saw and level the surface with sandpaper - with tiny parts, rather wet and with protected breathing. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, which you apply with a pin, so that the surplus does not run over the surface of the fuselage. Before gluing, mark the position according to the assembly instructions of the kit and try it dry. Painting goes best with a brush once they are seated, or spray the parts while they are still on the casting block.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
