OV-10D Bronco 1:32 interior 3D decal - Quinta Studio

A set of color interior 3D decals from Quinta Studio for detailing the cockpit of the OV-10D Bronco reconnaissance and observation aircraft in 1:32 scale. The set is developed for the plastic kit from Kitty Hawk. It is not a kit and not a model: it replaces the bare plastic interior parts with a richly structured, raised and pre-colored surface.

What an interior 3D decal is

A 3D decal is a color decal with relief: the instrument panel, the side consoles, the seats and other parts of the cockpit are raised and already colored from the factory. They are applied by the wet method like a decal, but their thickness makes them behave more like pre-colored photo-etched parts. The individual instrument faces have clear glossy glazing and in the large 1:32 scale they come out particularly well.

Use

• Apply onto a finished, painted and preferably gloss surface
• Dip the part in lukewarm water for a few seconds and lift it out with tweezers
• The part has no adhesive layer of its own; it holds on the gloss coat, and on a complex shape a drop of cyanoacrylate helps
• Do not use decal softener or setting solution at all, as they would attack the printed resin

For modelers in the large 1:32 scale who want a richly detailed Bronco cockpit without photo-etch and without hand-painting the instruments.

A modeling accessory for detailing the cockpit, not a kit and not a model. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
