Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set from the Brassin range by the manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale. It is not a model but a detail accessory. It replaces the plastic wheels of a kit with faithful castings of the tires and the hubs matching the late version of the landing gear. It is intended for models of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter with a nose wheel.
Compared with the machines of its day the Airacobra had an unusual tricycle landing gear with a nose wheel, so the wheels are clearly visible on a model. Resin castings offer a fine tread, detailed hubs and often the effect of a weighted tire, which injection-molded plastic usually cannot manage. The set normally contains the main wheels as well as the nose wheel.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires flat, set the hubs apart and accent them with a wash if you like.
This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. It requires the corresponding base kit. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
