A model of the American fighter Bell P-39 Airacobra (the Q/N version) in the large 1:32 scale. A kit to be glued and painted, suited to modelers who will appreciate the richer detail of a larger scale.
The P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter of the Second World War with an unconventional layout: the Allison V-1710 engine was mounted behind the pilot (with a long shaft to the propeller) and it had nose landing gear; on the propeller axis it carried a 37 mm cannon. The Q version was the most numerous, and the type was exceptionally successful in the service of the Soviet Air Force on the Eastern Front.
The model is best built in subassemblies, testing the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and, if you wish, pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a quality liquid plastic cement, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
