A resin set from the Brassin range by Eduard in 1:32 scale. It is not a model but a detail accessory. It replaces the plastic exhaust pipes with faithful castings with open ends. It is intended for models of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter, specifically the late Q and N versions.
The Airacobra had its engine placed unusually behind the pilot, so the exhaust pipes project along the sides of the fuselage and are clearly visible. The resin castings have realistically hollowed ends, which injected plastic usually cannot offer. Once painted with a burnt effect they markedly lift the impression of the whole fuselage.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with your airways protected. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For painting use dark metallic shades together with pigments and a hint of burning toward the mouths of the pipes.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. It requires the matching base kit. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
