It is not an aircraft model but a quality accessory that replaces the wheels from a plastic kit with more faithful castings with fine definition on the tire and the rim. A painting mask, which makes a clean transition between the tire and the rim easier, is usually part of the set.
The set is intended for models of the American P-51 Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale. With its laminar-flow wing and a range that allowed it to escort bombers deep over the continent, the Mustang was among the most important fighters of the Second World War. Resin wheels give the landing gear a realistic look, usually with a hint of the weighted effect on the tire.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces down with respiratory protection. Resin is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The enclosed mask makes painting the tire and the rim easier; finish with a light dusting of weathering pigments.
This is a resin accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
