A resin detail set from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a replacement propeller for a matching kit of the American North American P-51D Mustang fighter. The resin casting captures the correct shape and twist of the blades as well as the shape of the hub, so there is no need to glue and straighten individual plastic blades. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
The North American P-51D Mustang was an American fighter of the Second World War with a long range, famous for escorting heavy bombers. It was powered by a liquid-cooled V12 engine turning a four-blade propeller with wide blades whose shape is characteristic of the late Mustang. The exact profile of the propeller is clearly visible when a model is seen head-on.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. The propeller comes into its own once painted in matte black with yellow blade tips and a slight gloss on the hub.
This is an accessory resin set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
