Eduard 1:32 Panavia Tornado IDS is a photo-etched set of the Zoom line, that is a smaller and largely pre-painted accessory to the Tornado IDS kit in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but equipment for a build.

This set from the Czech maker Eduard belongs to the Zoom line. Zoom is a smaller, largely pre-painted set that forms a subset of the large photo-etched set for the same aircraft: it concentrates on the most visible places and is intended for a modeler who wants a quick increase in detail without an extensive rebuild. Anyone after a wider scope including unpainted parts for the exterior of a model will reach for the full photo-etched set. The set is not a kit and cannot be used without the plastic model of the Tornado IDS.
The Panavia Tornado IDS is a two-seat combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed by the Panavia consortium. The IDS version is intended for attacks on ground targets at low level and in poor visibility. The crew consists of a pilot and a weapon systems operator seated one behind the other, so the space of the cabin is generously exposed on a model and its detail shows markedly in the result.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and deburr the remains of the tabs with a fine file, so that the part seats flat onto the plastic. Make the bends along the scored grooves, ideally in a photo-etch bending tool or between steel blades. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pin in a minimal amount, as excess cannot be removed without damaging the paint. Pre-painted parts no longer need painting; just do not sand them and do not spray varnish over them, as it could damage the print. Unpainted parts need an adhesion primer.
The set is an accessory to a kit. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
