About product

PZL P.11c venturi probe 1:32 (Quickboost)

This is an aftermarket accessory in cast resin by the Quickboost brand, made by the Czech company Aires. It is not a kit but an accurate casting of the venturi probe intended to replace the plastic part of the base kit of the Polish PZL P.11c fighter in 1:32 scale.

The real subject

The venturi probe is a small aerodynamic device that uses the oncoming airflow to create the suction that drives some pneumatic cockpit instruments, for example the artificial horizon. On the real PZL P.11c it is a small but prominent detail on the fuselage that enriches the fidelity of a model.

Usage tips

First wash the small part to remove mold release residue, cut it off the casting block carefully and clean it up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Because of the size of the part, work with tweezers.

Who it is for

  • Modelers building the PZL P.11c in 1:32 scale
  • Anyone after faithful finishing of small details
  • Those who want to replace the simplified plastic part

The accessory is supplied as an unpainted resin casting. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
