This turned metal refueling probe matches the NATO standard and can be used on models of aircraft equipped with an air-to-air refueling system. The scale is 1:32 and the package contains 1 piece.
The probe for taking on fuel is thin and vulnerable on the real aircraft, so a replacement made of machined metal markedly increases the toughness of the model. The part faithfully follows the shape of the probe and, once glued on, gives the model a convincing detail. You remove the original plastic part and glue the metal replacement in its place.
