Eduard 1:32 Seatbelts Luftwaffe WWII fighters STEEL photo-etched belts are pre-printed steel belts for the cockpits of German fighters of the Second World War. This is a cockpit accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Eduard contains photo-etched cockpit seat belts in 1:32 scale in the STEEL range. It is not a model, but an interior accessory. The steel material of the STEEL range holds a bend better and looks more realistic than brass, and the belts are already color printed, so they only need to be cut out and shaped. The pattern matches the straps used in the fighters of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War.
Seat belts are a small but conspicuous cockpit detail that stands out especially in the large 1:32 scale. German fighters of the Second World War used shoulder and lap straps with characteristic buckles and hardware. Realistically rendered belts bring the seat to life and noticeably raise the credibility of the whole interior.
Cut the belts out carefully with a sharp knife, shape them with tweezers into a natural sag and fix them with a small drop of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Thanks to the steel they hold the bend reliably. Because they are pre-printed they need no painting; at most the shade can be adjusted with a pigment or a wash.
This is an interior accessory, not a kit. The model itself and glue are not included in the package.
