This accessory from the Czech maker Eduard, from its range of printed parts, brings a complete pilot seat for a model of the P-51B/C Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. The part is made by direct 3D printing in resin and has integral Type 2 seat belts cast in one piece with the seat, so there is no need to assemble photo-etched or fabric belts.
A seat with realistically draped belts is immediately visible in an open cockpit. 3D printing captures the texture of the straps, the buckles and the thin walls of the shell with detail that injection-molded plastic cannot offer. The accessory is intended for a plastic Mustang kit of the stated versions; it does not contain the model itself.
Separate the part carefully from the printed supports and sand any marks back gently. Bond with super glue. We recommend painting the belts and the shell separately and bringing them out with a dark wash, which pulls out the stitching and the buckles.
This is a detail accessory; paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
