About product

RAF early seatbelts STEEL 1:32 (Eduard)

A photo-etched detail set from the STEEL range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is NOT a model but a set of safety belts for the crew compartment. The STEEL range is made from pre-painted steel sheet, which shapes easily and convincingly imitates fabric straps. The belts correspond to the early equipment of the Royal Air Force.

What the set contains

Pre-painted steel photo-etched parts with the sections of the seatbelts, the buckles and the fittings of the early version. The exact number of parts and the extent of the package differ from set to set.

Usage tips

Separate the parts with a sharp knife and shape them with tweezers. The self-adhesive steel belts can be bent over the edges of the seat for a realistic look. The color can be touched up locally; the base is printed on.

Who the set is for

  • modelers of Royal Air Force aircraft in 1:32 scale
  • anyone after a realistic look for early-version belts
  • advanced and moderately experienced builders
  • collectors looking to refine a cockpit

This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
