A detail set, not an airplane model. This is a resin replacement for the SJU-17 ejection seat for a model of the American Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet carrier-borne multirole fighter in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the simplified seat from the box with a faithfully cast part showing the harness, the safety handles and the firing handles. It is intended for experienced modelers.
The ejection seat is the most conspicuous element of an open cockpit and it decides the final impression. A resin casting offers sharper edges, finer relief and richer texture than injection-molded plastic allows. The set holds one single seat of the SJU-17 type for the single-seat version of the Super Hornet.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
