Eduard 1:32 Spitfire Mk. IX flaps is a photo-etched set for faithful flaps on the legendary Supermarine Spitfire fighter. It is an accessory, not an aircraft model.

This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings photo-etched parts in thin sheet metal for detailing the flaps of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IX fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but an accessory to the base plastic model.
The etched parts make it possible to show the flaps in the lowered position and to replace the simplified plastic parts with a faithful structure of ribs, stiffeners and skin panels. The model then gains a realistic view into the internal structure of the wing.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, shape the bends over a metal bending tool and bond them with super glue or epoxy. Plan the flap assembly with the plastic wing parts in mind, and degrease the sheet before painting.
This is an accessory set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
