The Supermarine Spitfire was a British fighter of the Second World War and one of the most famous of all. The Mk. IX version was a high-performance fighter with a Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine, created as a response to the German fighters of the new generation. Wheels with different types of hubs and treads are among the details that differed between individual machines.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. The patterned tread comes out once primer has been sprayed on and the wheels lightly dusted with pigments.
