Quinta Studio 1:32 Su-27 - a 3D-printed colored interior on decal paper (Trumpeter), small version, is a reduced interior set for the single-seat cockpit of the heavy fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set carries a colored 3D print laid on decal paper into the cockpit. The small version designation means a reduced extent; the manufacturer lists the full interior for the same kit under a number of its own and it covers more of the cockpit. The set is cut for the Trumpeter kit in 1:32 scale.
The Su-27 is a single-seat twin-engine fighter of large dimensions. The cockpit matches the period it came from: it is analog, with round dials predominating, prominent lever controls and ruggedly built side consoles. The layout is different from Western machines of the same class, which is exactly why it pays to deal with the interior by means of a printed set, since the individual instruments have a color and lettering of their own that are otherwise only guessed at on a model.
A decal softener does not belong on this set. The printed layer is resin, not a decal membrane, and the chemistry attacks it, which is why the manufacturer rules out a decal softener and a decal setter alike. Put the cut-out element into lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds, let it slide off the backing paper and transfer it onto a surface covered with a gloss varnish, for instance Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22. The surface is on no account gone over with a brush. If the element will not settle on a shaped surface, move it with a damp brush while the surface underneath is still wet.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
