A turned metal detail part that replaces the plastic pitot tube on the nose of a model of the Su-27 or Su-30 (NATO reporting name Flanker) in 1:32 scale. The metal version is thin, strong and faithful in its dimensions, so it stands up to handling better than the plastic original.
The Su-27 and the derived two-seat Su-30 are Soviet and Russian heavy air superiority fighters respectively, with a distinctive aerodynamic shape. They have served since the 1980s and fly to this day in a number of updated versions. The forward sensor is one of their characteristic details.
Cut off the original plastic sensor, drill a seating hole and glue the metal part in with cyanoacrylate. The part can be sprayed together with the model.
This is a detail part, not a model of the aircraft. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
