Eduard 1:32 Swordfish Mk. I exterior is a photo-etched set of outer details for the Fairey Swordfish torpedo biplane. It is an accessory, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech maker Eduard holds photo-etched parts of thin sheet for detailing the outer surface of the Fairey Swordfish Mk. I torpedo biplane in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory for the base plastic model.
The photo-etched parts refine the outer features of the airframe simplified in injection-molded plastic, typically access panels, closures, stiffeners and other small exterior details. On a biplane such as the Swordfish they also complement the intricate structure and the surface of the fuselage well.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, form the bends over a metal bending tool and fix them with super glue or epoxy. Degrease the sheet before gluing and work with tweezers. Paint the fitted parts to match their surroundings.
This is an add-on set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
