A resin detail set from the brand CMK in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit but an armament accessory that offers the barrels of the wing-mounted 20 mm Hispano cannons in both the early variant (longer, projecting) and the late one (shorter, recessed). The set is intended for Hawker Tempest models in the Mk.II, V and VI versions.
The Tempest carried four 20 mm Hispano cannons in the wing. On early machines long barrels projected ahead of the leading edge; later the move was made to shorter barrels recessed into the wing. An accurate rendering of the barrels is among the most conspicuous details that distinguish a particular production version of the aircraft.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Choose the variant matching the version you are modeling; the muzzles of the barrels come out well once blackened.
The set contains resin parts and serves as an accessory for a kit. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
