This is an accessory for detailing a cockpit, not a model. A relief color decal transfers a three-dimensional structure and faithful colors of the pilot's cabin onto the instrument panels, the side consoles and the seat belts. This set is moreover supplemented with printed resin parts for more three-dimensional detail. It is tuned for the plastic Tornado ECR kit in the German version from the Revell brand in 1:32 scale and it takes the place of painting and of photo-etched parts.
The Panavia Tornado ECR is a specialized version of the European Tornado combat aircraft intended for the suppression of enemy air defenses and for electronic warfare. A two-seat cabin with richly equipped stations for the pilot and the weapon systems operator makes a faithful interior a striking dominant feature of a large model.
The decal parts are moistened and transferred onto the surfaces as a wet decal, while the resin parts are cut off the casting blocks and glued on with super glue. Do not include a softener in the procedure, as it would attack the printed resin of the decal. Once dry the interior can be fixed with matte varnish. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
