Brengun photo-etched set, WWI wire turnbuckles 1:32 is a photo-etched accessory for faithful rigging on models of First World War biplanes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A universal photo-etched detail set from the firm Brengun with turnbuckles for faithful rigging on First World War biplanes in 1:32 scale. It is not a model but an accessory. The fine metal parts replace the simplified ends of the bracing wires and give a model the delicacy of the real structure.
The biplanes of the First World War held their lifting surfaces together with a net of bracing wires, and the tension in those wires was adjusted with turnbuckles. Faithful rigging is one of the most demanding but most telling details of these models.
Separate the turnbuckles with a sharp knife and fit them onto the ends of your own rigging (fishing line, rigging thread or stretched sprue). Bond with super glue; we recommend a primer before clear-coating.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a kit of the model. The base model, glue, paints and rigging material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
