Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set of the American air-cooled R-2800 radial engine in the early version, 1:32 scale, from the manufacturer Aires. The resin accessory faithfully renders the two-row radial engine with its cylinders, ignition harness, reduction gear housing and accessories, and it makes it possible to display an exposed engine section.
The R-2800 was a powerful American radial aircraft engine with eighteen cylinders in two rows, used during the Second World War and after it on a number of fighter, ground-attack and transport aircraft. The early version corresponds to the earlier forms of this engine.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. It is advisable to paint the engine in sections; the lines, the rods and the ancillaries come out well with a difference in color and a fine wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
