This is a resin armament set from the Brassin range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard, as a rule complemented by photo-etched parts and decals. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory: the set contains American aircraft bombs of 500 pounds (approximately 227 kg) from the Second World War period in 1:32 scale. It serves to add armament to models of American aircraft.
American high-explosive bombs of the 500 pound class were among the most used aircraft armament of the Second World War. Fighter-bombers and heavy bombers alike carried them on internal and external racks.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Bend the photo-etched fins accurately over an edge. Paint the bombs and add the decals with period markings, if they are part of the set.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
