The largest version of the Christmas set, meant for 1:32 scale. Thirteen pieces take in the conifer, its stand, the topper, six ornaments, a pair of presents, a sled and a bear. It suits large figures and aircraft.

1:32 scale is used where the craft is meant to show: on large aircraft models, on historical figures and on collector vehicles. The parts in it are big enough to carry real finishing work - wood grain on the stand, a highlight on a ball, chipped paint on a sled runner. What is only hinted at in smaller scales can genuinely be painted here.
The conifer and its stand form the axis of the whole arrangement, and the topper closes off the tip. Six ornaments are hung around the branches, the pair of presents is set by the trunk, the sled leans against a wall or a fence, and the bear sits wherever the scene is meant to speak of children in the house. For a larger tableau the pieces can be split between two spots and tied together by the line of sight.
A large scale is unforgiving of the surface. It pays to sand the parting lines before painting and to check the parts against the light, because every irregularity will be twice as obvious once varnished. Lay the paint on in thin coats so the fine edges of the needles are not lost. A final dark accent in the recesses gives the tree the volume it would otherwise lose in one flat mass.
The delivery holds only the pieces listed. The setting the scene ends up in is the modeler's own choice of subject. If you feel up to it, one of the ornaments can be carefully drilled through and a fiber with a small point of light run into it; this scale leaves plenty of room for that kind of work, and a lit tree turns a quiet cabinet into a scene that stops a visitor.
