About product

First World War instruments 1:32 (Eduard)

A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard. It is NOT a model but a set of instruments and instrument panel extras for the cockpits of aircraft of the First World War era. It replaces simple plastic parts with faithful, finely made instruments that bring the pilot's space to life.

What the set contains

Photo-etching with the features of the instrument panel and the individual instruments of the period type. The scope and the exact number of parts differ between sets; a backing with dial faces is often included.

Usage tips

Separate the parts with a sharp blade, carry the small pieces with tweezers and glue them with super glue. The dial faces come out well once picked out with a dark wash; the glasses of the instruments can be suggested with a drop of gloss varnish.

Who the set is for

  • modelers of aircraft of the First World War in 1:32 scale
  • anyone interested in a detailed and faithful cockpit
  • advanced builders working with photo-etching
  • collectors looking to refine an interior

This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.

FAQ

Photo-etched features of the instrument panel and the individual instruments of the period type for the cockpits of First World War aircraft in 1:32 scale.

No, it is a detail accessory for a plastic kit, not a stand-alone model.

We recommend picking out the dial faces with a dark wash and suggesting the glasses with a drop of gloss varnish.
