Copper State Models 1:32 WWI Lafayette Escadrille Flying Ace is a resin figure of an American volunteer fighter pilot in French service of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of a fighter pilot in 1:32 scale from the Copper State Models brand. It is not an aircraft kit but a standalone figure, which will bring a model or a diorama from the setting of the air war of 1914 to 1918 to life. The figure captures a flying ace in period equipment.
The Lafayette Escadrille was an air unit made up largely of American volunteers who flew in French service even before the United States entered the First World War. Its pilots became a well-known part of the history of aviation. The figure represents a typical member of such a unit in period flying dress.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin figure, cut off the casting blocks and gently sand the mold seams with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use a primer for painting, then acrylics or oils and fine shading of the face and the folds of the clothing. Leather flying suits and scarves come out well with glazes and gentle lightening.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
