1:32 Yak-9K is a set of self-adhesive Eduard masks for the glazing and the wheels of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-9K fighter in 1:32 scale. It masks the outer side of the cockpit canopy.

Precisely cut self-adhesive masks for a model of the Yakovlev Yak-9K fighter in the large 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit: the masks replace hand-cut tape and make it possible to spray the frames of the cockpit canopy with a clean, sharp edge. The Czech company Eduard makes them.
The basic version, or TFace
This set masks the glazing from the outer side. For the same type there is also a variant with the TFace suffix, which adds masks for the inner side of the clear parts, so that the frames can be sprayed from the inside in the interior color. If you are building a model with a closed cockpit, this basic version will do; with the canopy open the inside of the frames is visible and it is worth reaching for TFace.
The Yak-9 was the most numerously built Soviet fighter of the Second World War and existed in a whole range of versions. The letter K designates the variant armed with a large-caliber cannon firing through the hollow propeller shaft; it served for attacks on ground and armored targets and was produced only in a small batch. In the large 1:32 scale the division of the cockpit canopy and the frame of the windscreen is clearly noticeable, so every inaccurate coat of paint tells.
Degrease the glazing and from then on touch it only with tweezers. Take a mask off the sheet with the tip of a scalpel, offer it up and press it down with a cotton bud or a stick, so that the edge sits along its whole length. Apply the paint in thin layers and rather in two passes than one thick one — it is apt to creep under a thick layer. It works well to spray the interior color first, then the base and only then the top shade. Pull the masks off shortly after the paint has dried to the touch.
It is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
