Precisely cut self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard make spraying the canopy glazing of a model of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-9T fighter in the large 1:32 scale easier. The kabuki-type masks follow the shape of the frames faithfully and peel off after spraying without leaving adhesive behind; the set usually includes masks for the wheels.

The real subject

The Yak-9T was the anti-tank and anti-bomber version of the successful Soviet Yak-9 fighter of the Second World War, armed with a large-caliber motor cannon firing through the propeller shaft.

Use

• stick the masks onto the glazing frames and onto the wheels if supplied
• spray the paint with an airbrush, then lift the masks off
• sharp edges without cutting tape by hand
• intended for plastic models of the Yak-9T in this scale
