Hauler 1:72 BTR-60 Wheels is a set of replacement wheels for a kit of the Soviet eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory that replaces the wheels from the base kit.

A set of replacement wheels from the Czech maker Hauler for a kit of the BTR-60 armored personnel carrier in 1:72 scale. It is worked out to fit the ACE, ICM and S-Model kits. It is not a model of the vehicle: these are replacement parts that you swap for the wheels out of the box.
On wheeled armored vehicles it is the tire that the eye settles on first. Injection-molded wheels tend to be split in the vertical plane, so a mold seam runs across the whole tread, and it cannot be sanded away without damaging the pattern. Replacement wheels are cast or pressed in one piece, have a clean tread pattern, legible lettering on the sidewall and better rendered geometry of the rim. The set also makes it possible to suggest loading, that is the slight flattening of the tire where it touches the ground, if the parts are produced in such a form.
The BTR-60 is a Soviet amphibious armored personnel carrier with drive to all eight wheels, introduced at the end of the 1950s. Characteristic features are the layout with two gasoline engines, water jet propulsion for swimming and a central tire inflation system that let the crew adapt the pressure to the surface of the terrain. The most widespread form has a closed hull with a small turret; the older versions were open at the top.
First check how the parts are cast or pressed and choose the procedure accordingly: wash resin parts in warm soapy water to rid them of mold release agent, and cut the casting block off with a saw, not with nippers. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. Degrease metal parts with alcohol. Every material except bare plastic calls for a primer. Do not paint the tire pure black, as real rubber is rather a dark gray; a lighter shade drybrushed across the tread will bring the pattern out, and a light dust pigment on the sides comes in useful at the end.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
