1:100 BT-7A Platoon (3 pcs) is a resin kit of three Soviet BT-7A artillery tanks in 1:100 scale from the maker Zebrano.

The package holds three models of the Soviet BT-7A fast tank in its artillery form. It is a resin kit for more experienced modelers: the parts are cast and have to be cut from the casting blocks before building. In 1:100 scale the whole trio takes up only a little room on a table, so it suits tabletop battles as well as a smaller display case.
The BT series was built on an American design by Walter Christie and became famous for its speed: the convertible wheel-and-track running gear allowed driving on the road without the tracks as well. The BT-7A differed from the ordinary BT-7 in a larger turret with a howitzer, which was to give both the infantry and the tank units fire support against fortifications and machine-gun nests. Only a minority of the vehicles built were of this kind compared with the basic version, which makes such a platoon all the more interesting on a table today.
First wash the parts so that they are rid of mold release residue, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces wet and with respiratory protection. Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) holds the joints. Apply a primer before painting, because without it resin takes paint unevenly. A small scale calls for a pronounced working of the surface: a dark wash into the recesses, a dry brush on the edges and a fine dust on the running surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
