This is a multimedia add-on set for raising the fidelity of a model, not a kit. The set combines photo-etched brass parts with several resin parts, plastic profiles and metal wire. It replaces and completes a number of elements of the gun with finer components. The maker is Voyager Model.
The set is intended for working up the German 88 mm FlaK 36 gun, the legendary all-purpose weapon of the Second World War used against aircraft and ground targets alike. It adds fine sheet-metal elements, clamps, chains and other details that injection-molded plastic cannot capture faithfully.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret, clean them up and form them according to the instructions. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with two-part epoxy; wash the resin parts before gluing and cut off the casting blocks. Once assembled, apply primer and the shades with an airbrush, and fine-tune the weathering with washes and pigments.
The accessory does not hold the model of the gun itself, nor glue, nor paints.
