This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. The set from Black Dog holds two faithfully cast turboprop engines for the four-engine AC-130 H Hercules gunship in 1:72 scale, including the fine detail that injection-molded plastic captures only with difficulty.
The engines replace the simplified powerplant parts from the base kit and make it possible to present the machine with the engine nacelles open in a service scene. The AC-130 is the heavily armed gunship version of the Hercules transport aircraft, powered by turboprop engines.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts in lukewarm soapy water, cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The structure of the engine comes out after a primer, a wash and a dry brush.
