Responsibility details are not available.
This separately listed figure from Black Dog in 1:35 scale extends the numbered group devoted to the American naval special warfare units. The 1:35 format is the most widespread for modern military subjects, so you will combine the figure with vehicles, terrain accessories and other figures with no compromise in proportions.
The work of naval special warfare units differs from the deployment of ordinary infantry in the very tasks they are set: reconnaissance, strikes against particular targets, work in the coastal belt and on waterways. The equipment matches that: it tends to be lighter and more variable, because a group has to be mobile and often moves without support. Over decades of existence these units have passed through conflicts in very different settings, from tropical jungle to desert and urban areas, and their look changed with each of them.
First choose the setting you will place the figure in, and only then the palette: subdued green for a coastal and riverine scene, sand for a desert one. Paint the uniform in thin coats and merely suggest the edges of the equipment with a lighter tone. Dusting, or conversely a damp sheen on the footwear, are the small things that settle a composition into a particular place and weather at once.
