A decal sheet in 1:35 scale with markings for Romanian tanks of the Second World War: the Pz III Ausf N, the Pz IV Ausf G, H and J and the light R-35.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Romanian army of the Second World War had no tank production of its own, so it ran on hardware obtained elsewhere. Besides the French R-35 light tanks with their small turret and weak armament these were German machines: the Pz III Ausf N with a short 75 mm barrel and the medium Pz IV in its Ausf G, H and J versions, that is the forms with a long barrel and a progressively simplified structure. The varied mix of types is rewarding for a modeler, because one collection of markings yields several different silhouettes at once.
The sheet concentrates on markings for machines in Romanian service, that is the national insignia, the tactical numbers and the recognition features by which this hardware differed from the German. The printing is in 1:35 scale.
Prepare the base in advance: give the painted model a coat of gloss varnish, so that the elements seat with no air bubbles and the edges do not silver. Separate the elements with a sharp blade close to the print. Check the application procedure in the instructions enclosed with the sheet and use a decal softener only where the instructions allow it. Once it has dried, give the surface a coat of varnish and only then shade it with a wash, so that the markings are not rubbed away.
The set is for modelers who enjoy the less usual users of well-known types and who want to build vehicles outside the usual German markings that come in the box. This is a decal sheet; the kit of the vehicle, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
