1:35 MAZ-537. Soviet Heavy 8x8 transporter. Military and civilian users.

MAZ-537 - Soviet Heavy 8x8 transporter (1:35, Star Decals)

A sheet of water-slide decals in 1:35 scale meant for marking models of the Soviet heavy eight-wheeled tractor MAZ-537 in army as well as civilian use. It is an accessory for marking a model, not a kit.

The real subject and the markings

The MAZ-537 is a powerful heavy tractor with 8x8 drive used for towing lowboy semi-trailers with tanks and other bulky hardware; the version with a winch served in the civilian sphere too. The set offers military registration numbers as well as civilian signs and lettering, which makes it possible to build the vehicle in various roles.

Use

• Work on a smooth gloss varnish, so that the decals do not silver.
• Cut the design out right to the edge, soak it in lukewarm water and slide it onto the surface.
• Adjust the position, draw the water off and pull it into the detail with a softener.
• Go over it with a matte varnish to even things out.

Who the set is for

• Builders of Soviet heavy wheeled hardware in 1:35 scale.
• Anyone interested in military and civilian forms of tractors.

The set holds only decals. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
