Star Decals 1:72 Befehlspanzer No. 1 is a set of water-slide decals with the markings of German command and observation tanks on the Panzer I and Panzer II chassis.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-slide decals in 1:72 scale from Star Decals. The set holds tactical signs, numbers and insignia for German command and observation tanks - the small Kleiner Befehlspanzer command vehicle on the Panzer I chassis, the command Panzer II and the artillery observation Beobachtungspanzer II. It is not a kit but an addition with markings for these models of command vehicles.
The Befehlspanzers were command conversions of light German tanks fitted with radio sets on top of the standard equipment and intended for directing units. The Beobachtungspanzer served artillery observation. These vehicles carried specific tactical insignia, Balkenkreuz bar crosses and numbers, which this set of decals makes it possible to transfer faithfully onto models.
Cut the decal out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it has released, slide it onto a smooth surface finished with gloss varnish. In the small 1:72 scale work especially carefully and with tweezers. On busy areas a decal softener helps; at the end fix everything with a coat of varnish.
This is an addition with markings. The models of the vehicles, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
