Star Decals 1:72 Balkan Peacekeepers No. 1 - British UN Warriors is a set of water-slide decals with the markings of British Warrior vehicles in the white finish of the United Nations peacekeeping force in the Balkans.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-slide decals in 1:72 scale from Star Decals. The set holds United Nations insignia, numbers and lettering for British Warrior infantry fighting vehicles committed in peacekeeping operations in the Balkans. It is not a kit but an addition with markings for models of the Warrior vehicle.
The Warrior is a British tracked infantry fighting vehicle. During the peacekeeping missions in the Balkans these vehicles served in a conspicuous white finish with large United Nations insignia, registration numbers and recognition elements, which were to emphasize their neutral role. It is precisely these markings that the set of decals transfers faithfully onto a model.
Cut the decal out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it has released, slide it onto a smooth surface finished with gloss varnish. In 1:72 scale work with tweezers and carefully. The large United Nations insignia adhere well after a decal softener has been used; at the end fix everything with a coat of varnish.
This is an addition with markings. The model of the vehicle, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
