This item from the Omask brand belongs among the aids for painting. You do not get plastic parts or a finished model but shaped plugs that fit the openings of the wheel bays exactly and close them off for the duration of spraying; the target kit is Hobby Boss. The modeler therefore does not have to stuff the bays laboriously with paper or sponge and risk fibers sticking into the fresh coat.
The Saab 32 Lansen was a Swedish two-seat jet design with a swept wing, created in the 1950s as an all-purpose machine for the Swedish Air Force. Versions for attack against ground and naval targets, for night interception and for reconnaissance and radar jamming were gradually derived from it. The rugged airframe allowed some examples to fly in secondary roles long after the combat machines had been withdrawn.
First finish painting the inner surfaces and let them dry overnight. Then slide the plug into place without forcing it, so that the fine edges of the doors do not bend. After spraying the outer coat, take the plug out carefully and look at the edge of the divide against the light; any small overspray is easily corrected with a brush.
