The package contains shaped holographic film parts intended for the vision blocks, periscopes and gunsights of a model of the Israeli tank. This is a finishing accessory added to a completed model as the last step, not a construction part. Anyone who builds modern armored vehicles usually runs into the fact that the optics are the one place where brushwork stops at a compromise.
In the Israeli army the Magach designation belonged to a family of tanks derived from the American machines of the M60 series, which went through a series of domestic modifications. The version designated 6B is among the upgrades with strengthened protection and an improved fire control system, and the GAL suffix points to a further stage of these modifications. The vehicles served in a demanding environment and their appearance is a rewarding one for modelers, because they combine an American design basis with Israeli features.
First clean up the seats for the optics on the model, so that the part sits flat and no wedge appears. Lift the film out with tweezers and do not touch the face side; fingerprints come off it badly. Fit it only after varnishing and after the wear effects are finished. Apply dust on the model around the optics, not across them, otherwise you lose exactly the effect you are buying the set for.
