Quinta Studio 1:35, 3D-printed color interior detail on decal paper for the 15t mil gl BR A1 vehicle with the launcher of the Patriot system. The small version of the set. Intended for the Trumpeter kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is neither a kit nor a photo-etched set. It is 3D-printed, already colored detail carried on decal paper. Against a flat decal it has genuine depth, so once applied the instrument panels, the panels and the controls look three-dimensional and need no further painting. This is the small version of the set; a more extensive base version for the same vehicle is a separate item. The target kit is Trumpeter.
How the set is used
The individual elements are cut from the sheet, soaked briefly in lukewarm water and slid off the backing into place. The base has to be smooth and glossy; the element has no adhesive layer of its own and will not hold on a matte surface. The excess water is blotted away with a paper tissue, the element is fine-tuned into position and then left undisturbed to dry.
Three-dimensional decals are thicker than classic ones and therefore need more time to settle. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin and will spoil the element. Paint the surfaces under the decal in a dark shade beforehand, so that bare plastic does not show through in the gaps. Once dry, a thin coat of matte varnish will even out the edges.
