The name gives the 1:35 scale, a wheel diameter of 29 inches and a modern rendition, so this is a present-day off-road bicycle rather than a historic machine. It can be built on its own over a single evening and in a scene it does the work that would otherwise take several figures.
The large wheel diameter gives the real bicycle a tall, slender outline with a long wheelbase. Current mountain machines usually add a suspension fork, disc brakes and wide tires with a coarse tread. It is exactly these features that decide whether a scene really looks of today or does not match its period.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry thoroughly, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. The handlebars, the seatpost and the spokes are among the most fragile pieces: separate them with a fine saw, never with nippers. Super glue binds the small joints reliably. The frame looks best in a rich color pulled over with a gloss clear coat, while the tires should stay matte and dusty. The chain, the cassette and the brake discs come alive with graphite powder or a dark metallic shade applied with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The package does not contain paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
